Indian ISP Making this world a better place

Reading the above quote, some people must be thinking of Facebook or Instagram but to be honest; you’re wrong this time because I am talking about organizations which work above these startups.I am talking about Internet Service Providers who are entirely responsible for helping to make this world digital and connecting billions of people.
What are Internet Service Providers(ISPs)
Some people have never heard the word Indian ISP but the word is self-explanatory, and if you guys work on internet data then you are indirectly or directly using an Indian ISP.ISPs are Organisations which provide internet access, internet transits, domain names, Web hosting services and Usenet services colocation.
Now let me break these new terms for you in minor stuff so let’s start with internet access.
If you pay to use internet data and surfs on the internet like for viewing web pages, using internet-based applications, chatting with your friends on social networking websites, using Google or Wikipedia to gain the knowledge you indirectly or directly connected to an ISP.
If you are paying your debts or making online money, using an ATM to take out your cash or paying your bills through virtual money applications.
Trust me you are connected to the internet, and all these come under Internet Transits.
Talking about domain names:- the domain name is a path or an address to visit some random website.What if I tell you to go and see Tom Cruise’s new movie trailer what would you do ?? you will search it on google or youtube right?
Notice that when you do that you have to give some address or path to the browser to surf a particular website so in case of youtube the path can be www.youtube.com or in fact of google path is www.google.com these pathways termed as domain names.All the domain names are registered to DNS servers which has all the information of your domain name and answers the https requests when someone surfs your website.
NOTE:: Every website has a unique domain name and domain names cannot clash.
So primarily internet was built for communication between government research laboratories and departments of famous universities funded by US department of defense and then in 1991 world wide web(www) came into play to take over the world.In 1995 internet services were served publically and commercially to use.FYI — The first ISP was set up in US and Australia, and in 1989 they helped their first customer.
Now coming to a topic which only talks about a country’s Indian ISP and, i.e., India.There are around 183 ISPs in India currently which are all licensed by the Indian government.Where just 41 provides services all over India some of them are — BSNL, VSNL, Reliance, Tata internet services and much more.There are basically three to four services provided by ISPs, i.e., Storage Service, Internet Network Service or Information Service.

The type of any internet access depends on its different use, customer needs and requirements. ISP’s connects to one another by forming structural networks, which is another way of saying by making roadways of communication between a server and user, they provide the services using distinct types of media by bridging different locations in different time zones.

The Internet providing the department of the country reached to a conclusion on throwing away the earlier used techniques of wire-lines technology when the 3G spectrum was introduced into the internet scenario of India, shortly followed by the 4G service providers. This act totally set the market for competitive and gave strength to the broadband market.
Due to which today, in India internet access is provided by both public and private companies using various mediums of technology including dial-up’s, coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc. at a variety of range of varying speeds and costs determined according to personal choice and usage.
The first launched internet service in India for commercial purposes offered dial-up speeds of 9.6kbit/s in the year 1995. With better improvements in the service provider sector, the network speed increased to 14.4kbit/s, followed by 28.8kbit/s and 33.4kbit/s in 1998. They later developed, and the Government formulated the broadband policy which seemingly gave rise to high internet speeds with better connectivity and effortless results.
Today globally, India is ranked 89th out of 149 regions on the average internet connection speed. The average internet connection speed on the Indian mobile networks IS 4.9Mkbit/s.
Recently in 2016, the Government brought up the proposal of raising up the minimum internet connection speed of broadband to 2Mbit/s. The whole internet using subscribers in India statistically reaches up to 429.23 million and the total Internet bandwidth owned Indian ISP’S is 2,933Gbit/s in 2017.
So from the different studies on the statistical data collected and analyzed upon, anyone can reach a conclusion of the growth of ISP’s on an immense scale for the Indian internet users.
In 2004, the Government of India decided to formulate the internet facility and termed and defined ‘broadband,’ they explained it as an always-on internet connection, and the growth of broadband connection in India took up the ladder but remained underrated and not reaching the mark of a
growth estimates the government and related agencies due to the resource issues which were powerful wire-lined technologies.
